What we're about... Cortland Energy is a Not For Profit Corporation that will directly reduce global warming.
Who we are... We are made up completely of volunteers (we're keeping overhead low) and are based out of Cortland, New York.
How we will do it... We will collect donations, apply for grants, and hold fundraisers to build not for profit solar and wind farms. We will then sell the energy to end users and/or the electrical grid to provide additional installation money.
Why this is so cool... We will be building 100% renewable energy facilities (wind and solar). As we grow our capacity to produce energy, our growth rate also increases. We'll be a self sustaining sustainable organization... Say that five times fast.
How you can help... It's hard to save the world with no money. Send us your dough, and we'll put it towards the construction of our not for profit solar and wind farms.
